Cambridge and Peterborough Post Covid Service

The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Post-Covid Service is a partnership between Cambridge and Peterborough Foundation Trust, Cambridge University Hospital and North West Anglia Foundation Trust.  The service was developed to meet the needs of patients in the area suffering with Long Covid.  The assessment pathway is supported by the community service aswell as the acute hospitals for those patients requiring more complex diagnostics.  Our multidisciplinary team consists of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Assistants and Peer Support workers, aswell as GP’s, Consultants, Mental Health Practitioners and Administration staff – all who come with different specialisms.

Rehab and support is delivered in multiple ways dependent on the needs of the patient.  The team have developed a library of symptom resources in the format of videos which have been recognised nationally and being utilised by services across the country.  The model of care that spans seamlessly across different providers has been acknowledged as exemplary and one which continues to be built upon”
